Manastirishte in October 2021

This autumn is not last year's autumn - it is colder and wetter. Still, it does have its moments and this weekend is one of them - the weather is sunny and warm and perfect for hiking. As usual in autumn, we choose open trails in the low mountains, to enjoy to the fullest the warmth of the October sun. Today the choice was one of our most favourite trails - a semi-circular route from the village of Plana to peak Manastirishte and back to the village.

:The day was sunny, but the temperatures early in the morning were below 10C and the wind was cold. To warm up, we quickly climbed the first of the peaks along our way - Marchin kamak.
