This is our fifth hike to Rilska Skakavitza waterfall! Some places are so beautiful, that it is absolutely worth it to visit them every year. We usually try to insert something different in the hike, if possible, last year we continued the hike to Small Rilska Skakavitza waterfall, and this year on the way back we took a roundabout trail and explored the part of the mountain that touches to the seven Rila lakes trail.
Gorgeous views, nice walk, everything was just perfect and we'll probably repeat the hike next summer again. We should only remember never ever again to try to reach the starting point - Zeleni Preslap hut, by car, as the road to the hut was in terrible repair and our car is simply not designed for mountain roads. We only hope we haven't done damage to it only a few months after buying it :(
