Basic White T-shirt with Beaded Motif

One more t-shirt for Gaby - a fairly basic white blouse with 7/8 sleeves and a beaded motif.

Many years ago Gaby had a store-bought viscose blouse with this motif, which she loved. Once she outgrew the blouse, I saved the beads in order to transfer them to another blouse. So, years later, here they are again. I'm not really sure how wearable such a motif is, but it was a fun project.

In order to attach the beaded motif, I reinforced the inside of the front with knit fusible and then sewed the small beads in groups of three and the "coins" separately, so that the entire motif would have some flexibility. I hope my threads and knots will hold and nothing will be lost during wear and care.

Patter: Burda 6820
Size: 36, shortened sleeves, raised neckline
Fabric: white viscose knit
Time to make: 2 days

Beaded Phone Case

I tried my hands at beaded knitting again - a beaded phone case. First I chose how I wanted my case to look - black with a light green Greek key ornament. Then I made a chart and bought the beads. The green beads turned out to be too transparent and the ornament is not clearly visible and I don't like the quality of the beads - they are not equal in size and not quite round - but that was to be expected, as they were really cheap.

Then I strung up the beads, following the chart from the end to the beginning, forming a stack of beads (first in - last out). My thread is YarnArt Violet, 100% mercerized cotton, 50 g = 270 m and I used 2 mm (US 0) size needles.

I knit the case flat in garter stitch, placing the beads every other row, only when knitting from the right side.

This is the wrong side - garter stitch, no beads.

I also added soft lining and a small zipper.

Haruni

My first lace triangular shawl ever! I was so excited choosing the pattern and then the yarn, having no experience with lace. In the end knitting it turned out so easy and pleasant that I'm ready for a second shawl :)

Pattern: Haruni by Emily Ross
Yarn: Alize Cashmira Fine, 450 m, 100 g exactly
Needle: 3.5 mm
Time to knit: 7 days

For the second part of the lace I applied slight beading with dark red beads. I inserted them in the course of knitting, using the crochet hook method and I improvised a small hook out of this resistor. The legs of the resistor are a bit too bendy, but I couldn't think of anything more suitable for a hook replacement, and I don't know of any real crochet hook that could pass through so small beads.

I had bought two skeins of Alize Cashmira Fine in this gorgeous scarlet red and I was really surprised that one skein was just enough to the last span of yarn. I knitted the shawl without any major modifications, with crochet bind off.

A very beautiful yet easy free pattern, excellently written. I would recommend it to anyone - beginner or experienced lace knitter.
