After more than a month and a half of corona crisis extreme measures, the government lifted the ban on parks and mountains. As Sofia is still under lockdown with checkpoints on the exists of the city, we are not quite sure if and how most of the mountains will be accessible, but Lulin is right at the outskirts of the city, so we chose to go there first.
A bit ironically, the weather in April was divine, especially on the weekends :), while now, that we can go outside, May starts with rain and thunderstorms ;))) Luckily, Saturday morning was partially sunny with clouds and the rain came in the afternoon, when we were already back at home, so Gaby, husband and I were able to have a lovely 10 km hike to peak Dupevitza and back along the fresh green trails and blooming trees.
