Yesterday was the Saturday of the long 6th May weekend in Bulgaria and we spent it hiking all day. As we often do, when we travel that far from home, we combined two places which are situated very close and which we absolutely love - Rudina mountain and lake Pchelina.
First we climbed the peak of Rudina mountain, starting from the village of Sirishtnik. This is a 4 km long trail with quite an elevation gain - almost 500 m in such a short distance is a steep hike and a good exercise.
