Before GPS and OryxMaps on our phones, we used to hike only along popular and well marked trails or with a group or a guide. But modern technology democratized hiking and now even middle-aged total amateurs like us can explore trails and make their own routes.
Thus on the last Saturday of March husband and I decided to climb peak Bachun along a circular route, starting from the village of Kokalyane.
The day was sunny and warm and most of our clothes stayed in our backpacks again.
