A phrase has stuck in my mind from my first year of studying English "Soon I shall be too old to travel, but I will see Rome before I die". The idea (obviously) was the different use of I shall and I will. But I digress ...
Said phrase popped up in my mind today, on the threshold of my 42-nd birthday. Soon I shall be too old to roller skate, but ... I will at least give it a try :)
And here I am today, skating like a Pinocchio around the lily pond.
And because it is still Self-Stitched September, I'm wearing my Frenchy and three of my knit beaded bracelets:
There are turtles inside the lily pond. I have pictures of the turtles!!!
