I'm starting my new blogging year first with a few projects I managed to finish right at the end of 2016. First - a hat for Gaby's friend. The hat is reversible, with 1x1 rib, transferring into half fisherman's rib for the body.
Pattern: Blue Hat, 68 sts, half fisherman's rib stitch
Yarn: Alize Lanagold Plus, 51% acrylic, 49% wool, 100g
Needle: 4 mm
Time to knit: 2 days
It's long enough to be worn slouchy or as a beanie.
The yarn is soft and produces warm and thick texture. It's always a gamble when knitting for a present, but the process was very enjoyable.
