I knit this raglan cardigan for my nephew, who will turn 4 years in two weeks time and as most 4-year-old guys is crazy about cars of all makes and models. My inspiration for the stripes and the embroidery came from this vest I came upon on Ravelry.
If you like the cardigan and would like to knit one for your own 4-year-old, you can download it from here:

CUTE!!! My son would love a car sweater. (Actually, he'd REALLY love a train sweater, but he's almost equally infatuated with all modes of transportation.)Your FO looks great, and I bet it's cozy being acrylic/cotton. ^_^

ReplyDeleteLovely post! There’s something so nostalgic about the way you’ve captured cars—not just as machines, but as memories tied to moments and people. It reminds me how every car has a story, whether it ends in a family photo album or at a scrap metal yard in Yatala, waiting to be recycled into something new. Funny how even the end of a car’s life can be part of a bigger journey. Really enjoyed reading this—thanks for sharing!
